Pacific Northwest Chapter Reinstated
It is with great excitement that the Chapter Committee, the POCI Board of Directors, and the dedicated members of the Pacific Northwest Chapter happily announce that Chapter #18 of the Pontiac-Oakland Club International has been reinstated.
This chapter will be serving the great state of Oregon. Any POCI member, in good standing, may join this newly reorganized chapter. The chapter is dedicated to helping to promote the preservation, enjoyment and restoration of Pontiac, Oakland and GMC vehicles. They are especially driven to promote membership in POCI, to assist members with technical and parts search and to encourage communications and social events. If you're in the Oregon area or you're simply interested in being a part of their shared enthusiasm we invite you to contact them to join. Dear, John Cappleman and POCI Board of Directors:
I am pleased to present a chapter charter application for the reactivation of the “Pacific Northwest Chapter #18”, a regional chapter for POCI.
After emailing and calling the Oregon POCI members from the list provided, there seemed to be overwhelming support for having an Oregon chapter. Several POCI members called indicated that they were interested but not at this time. We are in constant communication with those individuals.
There has been an organizational meeting and officers were nominated and elected. The officers are listed in this packet.
This chapter will be serving the state of Oregon.
