KC Arrowhead Chapter April 2011 Meeting Minutes By Sharon Harris, Secretary Mike Darr called the meeting to order at 3:15 pm at the Home of Simone & Steve Young in Smithville We had a wonderful Spaghetti dinner with all the goodies. The minutes were approved by Ann Darr and seconded by Bob Wolf. Old Business We had about 40 people sign up at the World of Wheels interested in the Car Club. We have one new member Steve Rowe. "Welcome Steve". At the meeting we also had other members that have been away, Wayne & Patty Kitchen and Jim Milburn. "Welcome back we missed you"' We are thinking about the theme of Route 66 for next years World of Wheels, if you have an idea or memorabilia from Route 66 please let Ann Darr know about it. April 23 is a Easter Egg Hunt and Car Show in Raytown at 6210 Raytown Road 9am we can go to Belton Cruise after the Show. Our next event and cruise is April 29-30, we are going to the 4Th Annual Tulsa Pontiac Nationals, it's a Drag race and Car Show at Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa Ok. and also Larry Crider needs some help for the Race and car show. The May Club Meeting is at Linda and Gary Ruffin's the date is to be announcement May 7Th is a Car Show at Noland Road Baptist Church on Noland Road and I 70 9am til 1pm New Business May 15 the cruise to Squaw Creek Mound City MO to meet the Nebraskaland chapter and our chapter for a picnic May 21st is Larson's Cruise in Smithville Bob Wolf is seeing if Don Bennet is having his Cruise at his home in Vienne Mo, June 4th. June 1st is the Pontiac Tribute Day, we are thinking about a Cruise to Winsted's on Metcalf. June 4th is the meeting at Jim & K Talbot in St Joseph Mo June 18-19 We are seeing about a trip to Jefferson City Mo to the Prison and Highway Patrol Museum and of course Central Dairy. July 1st Car Show in Cameron Mo. July 5-10th POCI Convention in Bowling Green Ky., Simone Young still has Rooms for the Convention July 16-17 is the Pontiac Ill car show, Ann Darr has room for this Car Show. Hot August Nights is Friday August 26 in Smithville Mike ask Larry Kosek and Jim Talbot about Saturday night Cruises in Topeka, Ks, & St Joseph Mo.
