Haven't received your Smoke Signals?
Haven't received your most recent issue of Smoke Signals? This may help explain why..........
Through correspondence with other national car clubs who belong to the GM Car Club Council, it was discovered that many automotive enthusiast have had trouble receiving their club publications. This is not a new problem for POCI members, we have struggled with the sporadic USPS delivery system for some time now. However, as of late, it seems our members and members of other car clubs have experienced even greater delays in receiving their publications. Here are the reasons given by the USPS:
The USPS is in the midst of a major network overhaul, including consolidating mail sorting into fewer facilities and implementing a new end-to-end delivery model.
This transformation, while intended to improve efficiency and reduce costs, has led to initial disruptions and challenges.
We are being told that it may take 4-6 weeks for people to receive their magazine. We apologize ahead of time for any inconvenience caused by the USPS delays. Please keep in mind that once the Smoke Signals magazines are put into the mail system we are at the mercy of the USPS, and have no control over the timeliness of their delivery. Given this information we ask that you allow extra time for your Smoke Signals to arrive before calling the club office to request a replacement. Thank you, and we appreciate your cooperation.
Remember, electronic versions of the most recent Smokes Signals issue is always available here simply by logging into your Member Dashboard.
